The situation
A large enterprise needed to reduce its attack surface across tens of thousands of endpoints and improve how security incidents were detected and handled.
The environment
Enterprise endpoints and servers, EDR platform, network segmentation and security operations.
The problem
Limited visibility into endpoint activity and weak coverage of the practical attack surface.
My investigation
Assessed the security environment, existing controls, endpoint exposure and operational readiness.
What I did
Implemented a best-in-class EDR strategy and solution, and delivered operational security training on handling the attack surface and mitigating threats.
The result
Enterprise-wide endpoint visibility across 20,000+ endpoints and a measurably reduced practical attack surface.
What I learned
EDR delivers value through strategy, tuning and trained people — not through the tool alone.
